The Rural Workforce Theme Area of the University Department of Rural Health (UDRH), Tasmania aims to facilitate the recruitment, distribution and role innovation, education, and support of Tasmania’s and Australia’s rural health workforce through program delivery and research in order to improve the health and wellbeing of Australia’s regional, rural and remote populations.
The UDRH Tasmania pursues this aim through partnerships and collaborations with rural health professionals, health professional bodies, employers of health professionals, other UTAS bodies and other universities.
Under the UDRH Rural Workforce Theme, there are four key strategy areas.
