People to ask

Everyone probably knows several people with useful skills and knowledge. If you don’t know people directly you can no doubt think of people who could know a lot about the topic you are interested in.

To locate relevant information consider asking:

• Friends and acquaintances
• Professionals
• Other community groups
• Non-government and Government agencies

Often we know many more people than we think. Collectively we have access to a huge amount of knowledge and expertise. As you increase your network of contacts you will be building an informal knowledge bank.
