The Rural Health Education Foundation is Australia's pre-eminent provider of television-based health education for doctors, pharmacists, nurses and allied health professionals. The Foundation produces hundreds of programs covering a wide spectrum of health education issues - all designed specifically for rural and remote health practitioners.  Most programs are conducted in a panel discussion style with expert participants and featuring clinical examples.

The Foundation broadcasts the programs across its own satellite network of more than 640 sites, as well as other television services.  The University Department of Rural Health Tasmania is part of the Foundation's satellite network. Interested public is welcomed to call 6324 4000 to make a booking to watch the satellite broadcast.

All programs are accredited and are also available via video webstreaming and audio podcasting on the Rural Health Education Foundation website as well as on DVD. Viewing and listening help.
