Biography

The majority of my working life has been spent in community pharmacy. During this time I have developed an interest in pharmacist CE, wound care and Aged Care drug treatment and issues. This led to me undertaking further study and becoming qualified as a clinical medication review pharmacist.

In recent years I have been involved in other community related pharmacist related issues, such as GP generated community medication reviews, ACF medication reviews under the guidelines of the Commonwealth Government project for Quality Use of Medicines.  I have also had a long association with ABA (formally NMAA) in a voluntary capacity involved in counselling, education & administration.

Current Study

• Investigating the role of a pharmacist in the treatment and on-going support of males with ED
• How can the disease state be best managed?
• Is drug therapy always the best option?
• How will the current role of the pharmacist need to change to accommodate these sensitive issues?
