Career Summary

As a nurse with over 33 years of experience my interest obviously lies within the health arena. Originally from Sydney, NSW I have worked in 3 states within Australia and spent 15 years living and working in New Zealand. My primary specialty is Cardiac Nursing with a particular interest in Paediatric Cardiology. During this time I have also worked in many different areas, in differing roles and seen a lot of changes.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (Certificate) and BHSc (Nursing) 1998
  • Specialist Courses in Coronary Care, Cardiothoracics and PG Cert Ophthalmology
  • MPS (Multiculturalism / Education) 2002
  • Certificates in Health Care Management and Adult Education

Current Research

Presently I am exploring a research project examining the Health Service Delivery Changes and their impact on the staff and community in Rosebery.
