Health Careers Taster Day for Year 9 students
The 2007 Taster Day aims to provide a multi-disciplinary health careers education program for students in Year 9 at schools in northern Tasmania.
The program covers a broad range of professions and involves university students and staff as well as practising health professionals. Hands-on and interactive
experiences are key features of the program and this year's event will be held on Thursday 22 November 2007 at the Nursing Centre of Excellence in Simulation on
the Newnham campus of the University.
Students interested in attending should talk to their school teachers and career advisors.
