Applications for assistance must be submitted prior to commencing the placement and should be submitted through your placement coordinator.
Tasmanian students who undertake a placement in their home communities are not eligible for assistance.
Applications for Hobart based placements will need evidence that the placement includes a rural component of at least one week.
To receive the travel allowance, students are requested to complete an online evaluation form at the end of the placement for quality assurance purposes. This will assist with processing payments.
